I started writing articles for local newspapers, online media, and on a personal blog of my creation at the age of 17. Two years later I formally became a freelance journalist, and pitched my personal blog to ilFattoQuotidiano.it, one of Italy’s largest online news portals. Since then, I write opinion pieces with in-depth analyses and commentary on social policy and European politics.
My background is in political science, specializing then in sociology and demography. Starting from Lecce (Italy), my studies took me to Paris, Barcelona, the Netherlands, Scotland, and Estonia.
I am active in research and writing on welfare state policies and the impact of digital technologies on social dynamics at large. Particularly, my focus lies on labour markets, industrial production, statistical analysis.
I contribute regularly to the contents of digital transformation think tank e-Governance Academy, and the Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions. Previously, as Content Manager and Spokesperson for e-Estonia, I’ve had the chance to introduce Estonia’s digital society to international government delegations and media outlets – La Repubblica, Audi Magazine, La Stampa, Reforma, Digital Trends, Rai, and many more.
Currently, in my capacity as Partnership Program Manager at software company Evocon, my attention has shifted towards digitalization in manufacturing contexts. After all, this is perfectly in line with the zeitgeist of the place that has been my home for 3 years already – Tallinn, Estonia.
